heerlijk voor me gekookt.

Dear Chris,
Happy New Year to you, and to all people around you (Spanish and non-Spanish).
It was great to stay at your place, although the rain was pouring down. We had a nice time anyway, especially with the third bottle of wine.
Our day in Ronda was fine. The sun was shining, it only started raining around diner time. Our flight home was smooth, although we started with a 1-hour delay at the airport.
Yesterday it started snowing again in Holland, today was very sunny (but still white).
I assume you had a nice New Year’s eve, and all bottles of Cava are empty now.
If we ever come to Montejaque again, we’ll visit you again. So, keep up the good work (now 8 weeks, it should become many many years).
Best regards,

Hi Chris,
Many thanks for a comfortable stay whilst on our walking holiday. Having dinner at 7pm after a day's walk was just what we wanted and bacon and eggs the next morning was a real treat. Wish you success in the hotel venture.
Best

Dear Chris,
Anyway, we just wanted to thank you very much for your hospitality, you made us feel extremely welcome. We really enjoyed our stay at El Elefante Amarillo, it was the perfect relaxing break we were looking for. To be honest you won me over beforehand with the promise of home made cake and log fire but the hotel exceeded our expectations considering you had only been open 4 weeks, it’s a fantastic little place. As did the surroundings – pretty villages and spectacular mountains, what more could we ask for. The newly refurbished room was fab, very spacious and tastefully decorated (thanks for the DVDs – we did watch some). Breakfast certainly set us up for the day. There was always plenty of hot water and a very good shower (makes ours at home seem a little pathetic now!) – just what you need after a days hiking. Your evening meals in the atmospheric candle lit restaurant were delicious. We would like to wish you well with the hotel and look forward to returning as a family (!) one day to see what you have done with the place.
